My Great-Grandfather

Ernest was the son of Isaac and Mary Catherine Mongold Kuykendall. He married Mary Etta Spitzer in 1917 and had these children: Dorman, William, Hays, Leoda Gribble, Blaine, Ray, Thomas, Juanita Snoots, Paul and Ernest Jr.
He was also survived by his siblings George, Michael, Adam and John Kuykendall and Phoebe Wratchford, Sarah Jane Smith, Margaret Helmick and Rebecca Helmick.
Ernest and Mary were farmers.
He was a veteran of World War I and enjoyed his grandkids, fishing and eating chili dogs.
He was my great-grandfather and died 12 years before I was born. Sounds like I really missed out!
