Mr. Fred Seidelman, 81, of Oswego, Illinois died Friday, October 28, as a result of injuries of an auto accident in Oswego, Illinois. He was born June 28, 1907 in Oswego Township, Illinois.
Mr. Seidelman retired after several years from the Houghton-Mifflin Co., in Geneva, Illinois. He was engaged in farming in the Oswego Township area for several years. He was a member of the Kendall Co. Farm Bureau and attended the Central Bible Church in Aurora, Illinois.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Donald (Connie) Scharbert of Aurora, Illinois; one granddaughter, Mrs. Steve (Wendy) Shick of Saginaw, Michigan; one grandson, Warren (Kris) Scharbert of Aurora; one great granddaughter, Kelly Scharbert; one great grandson, Todd Scharbert; four sisters, Mrs. Elsie Wilson of Sandwich, Mrs. Minnie Reynolds of Aurora, Mrs. LeRoy (Marie) Calkins of Montgomery, Illinois, and Mrs. Lydia Carpenter of Oswego; two brothers, August (Dorothy) Seidelman of Oswego and Mr. Harold (Ardis) Seidelman of Aurora; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard J. Seidelman; and one brother, Leonard Seidelman.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 1, at 10 am at The Central Bible Church at 940 W. Galena Blvd., Aurora. The Rev. Lyle Ihde officiating. Burial at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Sandwich, IL.
Visitation will be Monday, October 31, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at the McKeown-Dunn Funeral Home, Ltd., Oswego, IL. Memorials may be made to the Central Bible Church.
