DUDLEY B HAGERMAN

Dudley B Hagerman, 88, of Southold died at his residence on Thursday May 30.

A native of Brooklyn, he was born on Oct 20, 1896. An Army veteran of World War I, he was a retired research chemist with the Mobil Oil Co in New Jersey.

Mr Hagerman was a member of the Southold United Methodist Church and the Southold Senior Citizens Club, and a former member of the North Fork Lions Club.

He is survived by his wife Irene; a son Richard D of Woodbury NJ; a stepson Philip Hawthorne of Colorado; a daughter Barbara of Chicago Ill; two stepdaughters, Ruth VanVeendaal of New York and Beverly Burger of New Jersey; a sister Mrs Allan Baker of Southold; three grandchildren and four stepgrandchildren.

The Rev Ralph Spoor officiated at the funeral service which was conducted Monday at the Southold United Methodist Church. Burial was in Presbyterian Cemetery, Southold.

Memorial donations may be made to the Methodist Church in Southold.
