Miss Willa Hagerman of Greenport, died on Jan 24, 1964. She was born in Brooklyn, N. Y. on November 10, 1877, the daughter of the late William and Mary Jackson Hagerman.

Miss Hagerman was a graduate of Pratt Institute and taught kindergarten in the New York Public Schools for forty-four years. She was widely known for her interest in painting and at one time conducted an Art and Gift Shop in Southold. She is survived by two brothers, Earl Payne Hagerman of Southold and Dudley Barnce Hagerman of Wenonah, New Jersey and two sisters, Mrs. Emmett A. Shrigley of Kirkwood, New York and Mrs. Allan Baker of Southold.

Funeral services were held at the DeFriest Funeral Home, Southold on January 26th at 2:00 P. M. with Rev. James Alcock, past of the Universalist Church, officiating. Interment was in the Presbyterian Cemetery, Southold.
