Mrs. Emily Whitehead
Funeral services for Mrs. Emily Whitehead, who died last week at her home 138 North Bixel street, were conducted yesterday afternoon from the Wee Kirk o' the Heather by Dr. George A. Carey of the First Methodist Episcopal Church of Los Angeles. Interment was in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Mrs. Whitehead, mother of Ernest Whitehead, member of The Times staff for thirth-four years, was born in England seventy-seven years ago and came to this country in 1887. Besides her son Ernest , she leaves a daughter Mrs. Frederick Davis, and three other sons, Hiram P., Richard D., and Stanley K. Whitehead.
