Richard ‘Dick' Alexander, a retired insurance salesman with Union National Life, died Sunday at a local hospital. He was 75. Alexander was a native of Ansley, Ala., and a resident of Bay Minette. He attended Troy State University for four years. He served in the U.S. Army in communications during the Korean War. Survivors include his wife, Joyce Fay Alexander of Jackson, Ala.; one son, Edward Alexander of Jackson; one daughter, Debra Hanks of Daphne; one brother, Gary Alexander of Troy; one sister, Alice Curtis of Glenwood, Ala.; and two grandchildren. Visitation is set for Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the 10 a.m. funeral at Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson. Burial will be in Trinity Memorial Gardens in Jackson.
