James Cheesman, son of

James K. Cheesman (1844-1917)

and Nancy Ann Moore (1842-1906),

married Ethel Cora Carter,

James Cheesman, 62, died Saturday evening at his home five miles west of Rossville.

Mr. Cheesman had lived in this community since his marriage in 1910 to Ethel Carter.

Surviving are his wife, four daughters, Mrs. William Grant of Kokomo, Delpha, Thelma and Imogene, all at home; three sons, Leonard, Wesley and Floyd, all at home; three sisters, Mrs. Ann Cripe of Delphi, Mrs. Carey Douglas of Lafayette and Mrs. Ella Lennan of Independence, and one brother, Edward Cheesman of Delphi.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Church of the Brethren in Pyrmont with Rev. John Root officiating. Burial was in Pyrmont cemetery.
