Patrick F. Riney, 72, of St. Patrick, Missouri passed away on Thursday, December 1, 1988 at 6:35 pm. at St. Mary's Hospital, Quincy, Illinois. The son of Frank T. and Catherine Bick Riney he was born in St. Patrick, Missouri on August 21, 1916. He was united to Emma C. Ellison at St. Patrick, Missouri on February 4, 1939, and she survives. Also surviving are five sons: E. R. Rick Riney of St. Peters, Missouri; Waldo P. Riney of Newton, Iowa; Thomas V. Riney of Spring Hill, Florida; Lee D. Riney of West Burlington, Iowa; Randy L. Riney of Keokuk, Iowa. Three daughters: Mrs. Warren (Barb) Devore of Burlington, Iowa; Mrs. Betty Newberry of Ferguson, Missouri; Mrs. Stan (Joann) Jobe of Huntsville, Arkansas; one sister: Leota Riney of Quincy, Illinois, 27 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son in infancy, a daughter Emma and a daughter in infancy, one brother: Joe Riney, one sister: Agnes and 3 grandchildren. He was a member of the Shrine of St. Patrick Catholic Church, St. Patrick Knights of Columbus, Council 2526 and a member of the St. Vincent De Paul Society. Services were held Monday, December 5, 1988 at the Shrine of St. Patrick, St. Patrick, Missouri with Rev. Robert Duesdieker officiating. Burial was in St. Patrick Cemetery. Pallbearers were William Kirchner, Herb Schutte, Roland Roach, Kenneth Krueger Jr., Robert Kirchner, Eston Boudreau, and organist was Ellen Krueger.
