My grandmother was very ill and went to the emergency room of The Medical Center, Beaver, PA. She was denied admittance and released. She sat up all night long in a Lazyboy chair watching over my mother's sister, (my Aunt Bood), who was also denied admittance to the Medical Center. The following morning my grandmother suffered cardiac arrest and was dead. When we got the call, my mother and I flew to Pennsylvania from California. A month later, my Aunt Bood also died.
I wrote to the emergency room doctor, requesting justification for their treatment of my grandmother and my aunt. The doctor sent me a response which said she was in receipt of my letter and was sorry for my loss.
