Mattie Lee was born to John Wesley Nimmo and Mary Ann 'Mollie' Nimmo. She was the second child of eight. Charles Edward 1908; Mattie 1910; Maud Ada 1911; John Henry 1912; Jodie Russel 1915; Dollie Ann 1917; Edward 1918; Ginnie Ollie 1921. The family came to Okmulgee county, in 1916 and returned to Rogers, AR in 1920 and Ollie was born. They again returned to Beggs, OK. Mattie married William Craig Hamilton 12 June 1926 in Beggs, Okmulgee, OK. To this union there were seven children born. William Craig died in 1945 and Mattie taking her seven children married Troy Wagoner with his children still at home. Troy died and Mattie lived until 1 July 1995, she is buried in the Beggs Cemetery next to her first husband William Craig Hamilton.
