PERHAM - Ethel Nutting, 90, passed away Saturday, April 10, 2010, while surrounded by her family at her residence. She was born March 18, 1920, in Caribou, daughter of Simon and Grace (Little) Anderson. Ethel worked hard on the family farm along her husband Henry and together they had a wonderful life.
Ethel was a member of Dunntown Advent Christian Church and served as a deaconess, Sunday school teacher and youth leader.
In addition to her husband, Henry of Perham, she is survived by a daughter, Joyce Barker of Perham; five grandchildren, Carol Blackstone, Bruce Barker, Brett Barker, Debra Getty and Scott Barker; nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind three bro-thers, Gilbert Anderson of Millinocket, Merrill Anderson and his wife, Delila, of Caribou and Simon Elbridge Anderson of Berwick; two sisters, Betty Tib-betts of Millinocket and Zelda Wilcox and her husband, Geo-rge, of Westbrook; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by three brothers, Earl, Chester and Ernest Ander-son; and four sisters, Levercie Gamblin, Gertrude York, Lulu Dyer and Marietta Sullivan.
Interment will take place at Fairview Cemetery. (Bangor Daily News 4/12/2010)
