LYMAN BRELAND EXPIRES AT HOME

Funeral Service Saturday For Widely Known Man

Lyman Abbot Breland, member of a well-known Mobile County family, died at 5:30 a.m Friday at the family residence, 2432 Club House Rd.

Mr. Breland was a native of Biloxi, Miss., but was a resident of Mobile for the last 23 years.

He was a veteran of World War II and was employed at Brookley Air Force Base at the time of his death.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Beatrice M. Breland; three daughters, Patricia Ann Breland, Shirley Louise Breland and Sheila Marie Breland, all of Mobile; father, Robert M. Breland, Hilo, Hawaii; three sisters, Mrs. Beryl B. Young, Tuscaloosa; Mrs. S. B. Campbell, Sylvania, Ohio; and Mrs. A.E. Hughes, Jr., Montgomery; six brothers, Robert P. Breland, C.G. Breland, Douglas P. Breland, Dr. Kenneth R. Breland, all of Mobile; Leigh F. Breland, Birmingham; and Hunter M. Breland, Fort Worth, Texas, and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the chapel of Higgins Mortuary. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
