My Grandfather was born to Edward George Woodward and Adeline Rosella Marriott, in Detroit. He was the eldest child and his siblings were Alice Edna Woodward Alexander and Frederick Marriott Woodward.

During his years in Detroit, he was once employed at Rosebud Creamery and delivered milk in a horse and wagon with his son Richard helping him. This was the late 30's early 40's, but a horse was still the preferred method of delivery.

Lloyd married first to Beulah Helen Frederick and together had four children, Lloyd Edward, Joyce Edna, Richard Frederick, and Judith Lynn.

My grandmother Beulah passed away at a young age and Lloyd remarried to Margaret Ann Robinson Huhler. In 1956,they moved to Lansing, where he was employed as city treasurer and she worked at the university, until his death.
