Alecia is survived by her husband, Joey Solanic; daughter, Courtney Solanic; son, Jacob Solanic; and four-year-old twin sons, Jude and Holden Solanic. She is also survived by her mother, Judy Lunt Johnson; Harvey Clanton, whom she considered her step-father; sister and brother-in-law, Stacie and Scott Johnson; brother, Mark Johnson; nephews, Hunter Johnson and John Michael Johnson; aunt and uncle, Maxine and Earl Williams, of Houston, and many cousins, extended family members and countless friends.

Preceding her in death was her father, Donald E. Johnson; maternal grandparents, Van and Bobbie Lunt; and aunt, Carolyn Sue Attaway.

Alecia was a child of God with family undeniably the most important element in her life. She was undemanding, unpretentious, forgiving, generous to a fault, and lover of all animals. To know Alecia was to love her and she unfailingly returned that love on a profoundly unconditional basis. Family and friends will miss her immensely.

The family wishes to extend thanks to hospice nurse, Robin McGaha, and all Hospice Compassus employees. The family also extends its' heartfelt appreciation at all of the dedicated, caring employees of LSU Health Science Center ad Feist-Weiller Cancer Center, especially to Dr. Shantan Reddy and super nurse, Carol Crooms. All citizens of North Louisiana can be rightfully proud of these two cutting-edge facilities.

Live every day to the fullest and always be kind

for everyone we meet is fighting a great battle.
