GRUETLI-LAAGER, TN -- Glenda Faye Borne, 63, of Red Bank, TN died Friday, April 30, 2010, at her home.
She worked at BFI for 10 years and retired then worked at Memorial Hospital with the Physicians Answering. She was born on February 21, 1947 to Lawrence and Maude Woodlee Borne who preceded her in death along with her brothers, Andrew Clayton, Melvin, Stanley and Earl Borne.
She is survived by her sisters, Mildred (Elvin) Marshall, Dearborn, MI, Alma Lay, Jacksboro, TN, Christine (George) Bess, McMinnville, TN; brothers, David and Robert "Cosmo" (Doris) Borne, Gruetli-Laager, TN; sisters-in-law, Sybil and Virgil Marie Borne; special friend, Ellen Rapiach; a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. CDT Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Willard Griffin officiating with burial to follow in Fall Creek Cemetery.
Visitation after 2 until 9 p.m. CDT today at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, TN.
