Marilynn Beatty, age 74, a lifelong resident of San Antonio, died Thursday, November 19, 1998. She was a graduate of Jefferson High School. Mrs. Beatty was a member of DAR, the San Antonio Conservation Society, and the Harp and Shamrock club. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Major Thomas McGuire, second highest decorated World War II Ace, and second husband, Clem Stankowski. Survivors include husband, Robert E. Beatty; and son. Thomas C. Stankowski. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 3 o'clock to 5 o'clock at Porter Loring Mortuary. Service Monday, 3:00P.M., Porter Loring Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Louis Zbinden officiating. Those wishing may make memorial contributions to Boysville, PO Box 369, Converse, TX 78109. Interment in City Cemetery #6. Arrangements with Porter Loring Mortuary, 1101 McCullough, 227-8221.

Marilynn was the daughter of Mrs. Mary Willetta Giesler. Marilynn was married to Thomas B. McGuire, Jr. on Dec 4, 1942. Major McGuire was killed in combat on Jan 7, 1945. Marilynn's second marriage was to Clem John Stankowski (he died Apr 29, 1979). Her third marriage was to Robert E. Beatty.
