William Gruschow was the son of Carl "Charles" & Mary Kastendieck Gruschow/Grueschow. William Gruschow married Mae Fitzsimmons in 1920, Manhattan, and they had only one son, Charles, who died at four years old in 1926.
William's siblings were; Charles Robert, Mrs. Henrietta Gruschow Mulcahy, Alfred, Walter, Clara Friedricka, Charlotte "Lottie", Robert Albert, Edwin and Henry Arthur Gruschow.
