Born, raised, and died in Caldwell Parish. He was a carpenter, cabinet maker, service station builder, grave digger, and a wonderful father and grandfather. He was in World War II in the United States Army Air Corp; his rank was PFC. His children were Bonnie, James Earl, Ausborn Cleve, Ernestine Evelyn (RUSTIE), Tammy, and Misty Wren. He was well known in the community and well loved by all who knew him. To some he was known as Junior Grant and to others Randy Grant. He is missed severely and thought of every day by me. He is gone but will never be forgotten. Part of me went with him the day God called him home. I have a sadness in my heart and life that can never be filled. (I lost more than my daddy that day but that is another story.) You only get one daddy in life, so to all who read this, I say to you, enjoy your father while you have him, for when he is gone, he is gone forever; and forever is a long long time!! I love you Daddy, Rustie...
