Richard was born about 1854-1856 in Dublin, emigrated to USA (Brooklyn, NY) in 1890, and returned to England in 1896 after his wife Millie died. He mostly worked as a chemist in drug stores. He was the father of 2 daughters with his 1st wife Emily and had 5 sons with his 2nd wife Millie. He also had a 3rd wife Frances. His sons Richard and Charles lived mostly in New Jersey. His sons Robert and Frederick went to Nebraska on an orphan train in 1898. His son Herbert also went to Nebraska on an orphan train in 1898 and was adopted by Edward & Mary Anna Hahn. Son Charles went to Nebraska in 1903, but after serving in the army, he returned to New Jersey.
