Death Of Mrs. C.E. Rouse
Mrs. Carrie Moody Rouse, wife of C.E. Rouse, died at her late home at Central, near Lucedale, on Thursday, March 26, after an illness of one week with pneumonia.
The funeral was held the following afternoon, with interment in Shady Grove cemetery, at Central.
Deceased is survived by her husband and one son by a former marriage, Thomas Walter Moody, and two brothers and two sisters, as follows: T.K. Moody of Hurley, John Woodcox of Escatawpa, and Mrs. Kate Williams of Leakesville, and Mrs. Lizzie Dixon of St Elmo, Ala., and other relatives.
Mrs. Rouse was 41 years of age, was born in Lumberton, Miss.
She was a member of the Baptist church, ahd the love and esteem of many relatives and friends who regret her passing.
