Frances Boring - Local Centenarian

Frances M. Boring, 100, of 17 Carson Avenue, DuBois, died Tuesday at DuBois Regional Medical Center West.

She was born July 9, 1886, in DuBois, the daughter of James and Mary Catherine (Snyder) Murray. She was married to Earl C. Boring, who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Boring was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ.

Surviving are a son, Floyd "Toad" Boring of Maryland; a half brother, William Woodrow Murray of Texas; six grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Death Notice: Boring, Frances M. of 17 Carson Avenue, DuBois, died July 15, 1986. Friends will be received at the Mohney,Yargar Funeral Chapel Inc. DuBois, Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and until service time Friday. Services will be conducted from the funeral chapel Friday at 1 p.m. with Rev. Timothy Dykstra and Rev Edison Heard officiating. Interment will be in Morningside Cemetery.
