They had one child, Ethel A., in Columbia, Esmerelda, Nevada on July 8, 1881 and shortly after moved to Pomeroy, Washington. There they had four children: Nettie M., Herbert Warren, Harry and Cora. Mary died there in 1906 and Augustus married again in Spokane, Washington, Ruth Melissa Mantor on June 1, 1910. Augustus was born in October 1852 in New Portland, Somerset, Maine and Ruth was born nearby in Anson, Somerset, Maine in October 1856. Augustus and Ruth were living in Los Angeles during the 1920 and 1930 Census.
