"Roy Robbins, Sr., 79, R.R. 9, Greensburg, died at 10:25 a.m., Friday, May 10, 1991 in the St. Francis Hospital, Beech Grove, Ind. He was born April 29, 1912 in Decatur County, the son of Walter W and Grace M Ferris Robbins. He was a farmer and had lived in his present home for over 55 years. He was a member of the Mt Pleasant Methodist Church and of the Decatur County Farm Bureau. On November 4, 1936, he married Dorothy Small in Terre Haute, Ind., and she survives; with one daughter, Mrs. David (Bettylyn) Hanna, Indianapolis; one son, Roy R. Robbins Jr, Greensburg; one sister, Mrs. David (Malena) Ardery and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by a brother, Gerald Robbins who died December 19, 1975 and a sister, Wilma Robbins. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home, Greensburg. Burial will be in the Union Baptist Cemetery. The family suggests that memorials go to the Cancer Fund or to the American Lung Association."
