The most wonderful daddy on earth, taken from his kids too soon. He was a holy, righteous, brilliant man, a kind soul who no one had anything bad to say about. He loved God, Mom (Socorro Rodriguez), his kids (Barbie, Mary Ellen, Carolyn and Kenny), and his fellow man. He lost his Father (Willard R. Edwards) at age 5, lived with his mother Dottie Edwards and only sibling, John R. Edwards. Rode his Harley cross country in his 20's, down into Mexico. Had an eerie encounter with his future in-laws that he recounted to his death. Served in the Korean war, worked for Motorola, General Motors, spoke fluent spanish, polish, german, as well as japanese, italian, greek. Married my mom, Socorro at 31, she was 18. They met in Chicago, where they had four kids. In 1978 moved the family to Downey California, where Mary Ellen and Kenneth still reside. Barbara and Carolyn moved to Texas, married, and both reside in Corpus Christi. Dad developed Alzheimer's disease which eventually cost him his life and our hearts. We miss you and still mourn your passing. Pray for us Dad. We know where you are....
