Altamont, TN - Essa Dean Rymer, 82, of the Skymont Community, passed away Friday, June 18, 2010. She was a member of the Airview Baptist Church.
She was born in Cleveland, TN on July 12, 1927 to Henry and Anna Messer Miller who preceded her in death along with her brother, ralph Miller; sisters, Thelma L. Cooper, Lillard Stewart, Lou Etta McKenzie, Cecil Mae Hampton and Opal Pearl Hixson.
She is survived by her husband, Taylor Rymer; daughters, Susan (Lee) McCarter and Karen Hutcheson; sons, Matt and Jeff (Judy) Rymer; sisters, Alvada (Kenneth) Rymer, Evelyn Collins, Loyce Winton and Joyce (Douglas) Hobbs; grandchildren, Chad (Amy), Charity (Ben), Kasi Jo (Phillip), Ty, Becky, Jacob, Derek, Luke, Jill (Logan), Kayla and Hank; great-grandchildren, Rachel, Holly, Chase, Aaron, Hannah, Abey, Sari, James Oliver, Jasi, Cruz and Alec; a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Ministers Dal Barrett and Melvin Childers officiating with burial to follow in the Airview Cemetery.
Visitation: 5:00 PM till 10:00 PM Saturday at Layne Funeral Home, Altamont, TN.
