Willard Eldridge was the son of Frank William and Minnie Hathaway Eldridge. He was the first husband of Evelyn Nichols, actress who played "Rosemary on stage in the play "Abie's Irish Rose." They were married in 1918 (Crown Point, Indiana)and separated in 1919 with a divorce in 1924. Her sister was the famous playwright Anne Nichols, who penned "Abie's Irish Rose." They has one son, William Russ Eldridge. Later, William Russ Eldridge assumed the surname of his adoptive father "Stinson." His occupation is listed as a musician and singer.
