MRS. LELAND PAYNE PASSED AWAY AT SALINA SATURDAY

Funeral services were held Tuesday for Mrs. Leland Payne, who died Saturday at her home following a year's illness. Mayor Conrad Peterson was I charge of the services. Dr. Leo Merrill, Sidney J. Ottley, Mayor Peterson and C.M. Mickelsen were the speakers. Musical program was given by the First Ward choir.
Mrs. Payne was born in Redmond, December 5, 1908. She is survived by her husband, her mother, Mrs. Amella Anderson and the following brothers and sisters; Oluf, Ernest, Murrel and Linden Anderson of Redmond; Mrs. W.C. Perry, Nevada City, Calif.; Mrs. W.B. Allred and Mrs. Albert Poulson of Redmond; Mrs. Bladen Christensen and Mrs. Austin Mason of Aurora, Interment was in the Redmond Cemetery.
