'Mr. Jim Bills died Oct. 29, 1979, in Leisure Lodge Nursing Home. Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, at Maxey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. A. R. Martin officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Bills was born in Delta County on March 15, 1895, a son of the late Babe Bills and Ella (Armstrong) Bills. He attended Delta County schools and married Mrs. Charlotte McAfee in March 1934. She preceded him in death Nov. 23, 1973.
Surviving are stepsons, Daniel McAfee, Amarillo, James McAfee and George McAfee of Midland, Monroe McAfee of Dallas and Bobby McAfee of Paris; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Wilma Jones, Amarillo; a brother, Homer Bills, Paris; a sister, Miss Junie Bills, Paris; 17 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Daniel McAfee, George McAfee, Monroe McAfee, Bobby L. McAfee and James McAfee. Honorary bearers are Johnny Bills, J.C. Bryant, Bobby McAfee, Bill McAfee, Glen L. Emary [sic] and Curtis Emary.'
