PROVIDENCE, Ky. -- Lorene Wilhite, 85, of Providence, died Monday, Nov. 25, 2002, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind.
She was a retired school teacher, having taught in the Providence School System for many years. She was a member of Second Baptist Church in Providence.
She is survived by one daughter, Sherrie Wilhite of Evansville; and one son, Chris Wilhite of Providence.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday at Melton Funeral Home in Providence with the Rev. Fred Harrison officiating. Burial will be in Concord Cemetery in Hopkins County, Ky.
Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Thursday and from 8 a.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home.
