Jack was the second child, second son of Edward P Jr and Tillie M (Schmincke) Snellbaker; brother of Edward, Millie, Arthur and Carolanne.

He was a veteran of the US Navy having served on the USS Worcester for three years and six months.

After leaving the service Jack became an OTR truck driver. In his spare time he enjoyed 'chasing clouds' and going fishing.

Survivors include his wife, Donna; son, Michael; granddaughter, Kristin; sisters, Millie and Carolanne and brother, Arthur.

At Jack's request he was cremated. His ashes were scattered from an airplane.


In July of 2010 his memorial headstone was placed in the Houston National cemetery.
