WOLFE - Harold W. Wolfe of 93754 Horton Road, Blachly, Oregon died December 26, 1976 at the age of 50 of gastric cancer. A lifetime resident of the area, he was born in Blachly January 23, 1926 to Ervin and Clara (Petersdorf) Wolfe. He worked as a logger for the Woods Industries for 30 years. He was a veteran of World War II. On January 4, 1955 he married Phyllis J. Toline in Eugene. Surviving are his mother, Clara of Blachly: his wife, Phyllis of Blachly; a son LeMoyn of Blachly; a daughter, Marlene of Blachly; 2 brothers: Osburne of Eugene and Raymond of Horton; 3 sisters: Margaret Owens of Blachly, June Hanes of Springfield and Nellie Elam of Pinehurst, Idaho. He was preceded in death by his father, Ervin. Services will be held Wednesday December 29, at 10:30 a.m. in the First Christian Church, Junction City. Pastor Stan Scholl and Reverend Gilbert Knox officiating. Interment at Rest Lawn Memorial Park, Junction City. MURPHY FUNERAL HOME in charge of arrangements.
