William "Bill" Moscariello, 73, passed away Thursday, July 8, 2010. A Las Vegas resident for 40 years, Bill was born Feb. 4, 1937, in Waterbury, Conn. He was retired from the Las Vegas Hilton after 30 years of service, working as an operating engineer. He was a member of Operating Engineers Local 501, an Executive Board member and shop steward.

Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Joan; father, Felix Moscariello; and son, Michael Moscariello.

He is survived by his mother, Rose Moscariello; daughter, Colleen (Sergio) Correia; son, Paul Moscariello; brother-in-law, Daniel (Janet) Byron; sister-in-law, Louise (Leonard) Lorusso; nieces and nephews, Lisa (Jody) Myk, Lenny (Melissa) Lorusso, Daniel Byron II and Christina (Joseph) Silvoso; grandnieces, Gianna and Gracie Lorusso; and faithful companion, his dog, Itsy Bitsy.

Visitation will be 3:30-7 p.m. Tuesday, July 13, at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 14, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 130 N. Pecos Road, in Henderson.

Burial will follow at Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
