Mike L. Aaron, 78, of Midland, died Friday, April 12, 1991, at the MidMichigan Regional Medical Center.
He was born Jan. 29, 1913, in Freeland Township to the late John and Catherine (Lambert) Aaron.
He married the former Irene Maier on April 30, 1932, in LaPorte. He was employed by the Dow Chemical Company for 42 years retiring as a chemist in July 1971. He was a member of the LaPorte United Methodist Church and a lifetime resident of the LaPorte and Midland areas.
He is survived by his wife, Irene; son and daughter Gerald and Mary Aaron of Freeland; daughter and son-in-law Elaine and Bernard Brubaker of Midland; brother Carl Aaron of Freeland; sisters Catherine Atchinson of Mesa, Ariz., and Elizabeth Jones of Midland; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, August Aaron, and his sister Helen Doll.
Funeral services will be held Monday, April 15, 1991, at 1 p.m. at the Smith-Minor Funeral Home with the Rev. Edwin Cullver officiating. Interment will follow in the Laporte Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday where members of the family will be present Sunday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of the services.
