Claud Minton Whitley, 90, of Richmond, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2005. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 60 years, Nancy P. Whitley; and his brother, Judge George Franklin Whitley Jr. of Smithfield, Virginia. A native of Smithfield, Virginia, Mr. Whitley was a graduate of the University of Richmond, Class of 1936, and was a member of Phi Kappa Sigma fraternity. He was a veteran of World War II. He was inducted as a private and was discharged as a captain in the Air Force. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church for over 50 years. He was a retiree of the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond.
