Mrs. Ida Ellen Kiger Connor, 73, of Mt. Morris, R. D. 1, died Saturday, April 14, 1951, at 3:30 a.m. in the Greene County Memorial Hospital after a two years illness.
Mrs. Connor was born in Whiteley Township on Sept. 8, a877, a daughter of the late Hudson and Elizabeth Zimmerman Kiger. She married Kelsey Connor on April 7, 1898. Mr. Connor died Jan. 16, 1949.
She was a member of the Shannon Run Methodist Church and the W.S.C.S. of that church. She had spent most of her life in the Whiteley and Perry Townships.
Surviving are a daughter, Miss Harriett Pearl Connor of Mt. Morris R. D. 1; two sons, Clarence Irvin of Washington R. D. 4, and Robert Floren of Stahlstown; 13 grandchildren; a brother, L. R. Kiger of Claysville, and three sisters, Mrs. Louis Fox and Mrs. Thomas (Pearl) Cole of Waynesburg and Mrs. Elza (Clemmie) Maple of Spraggs. One daughter is deceased.
