Wife of William Henry Noble (1813-1894), Civil War Union Brevet Brigadier General, who served during the Civil War as Colonel and commander of the 17th Connecticut Volunteer Infantry. He was Brevetted Brigadier General, US Volunteers on March 13, 1865 for "meritorious services".
