Mr. Bade died Saturday, February 26.

He was born September 6,1903,at Vienna, Mo. ,son of Casper and Frances Pelican Bade He received his schooling in Vienna.

May 7,1923,he married Ruth Eads in Vienna. Three children were born to this marriage.

Mr. and Mrs. Bade opened Bade Shoe Store and Shoe Repair in Union in 1934 and continued to operate the business until he retired in 1969.

Mr. Bade was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Union.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth, June 10,1988; and by one son, Clyde David Bade, in infancy.

He is survived by one son, Kenneth Bade, Kankakee, Illinois; one daughter, Emogene and her husband Phil
Tucker, Union; three grandchildren, Dana Daniel and Mike and Douglas Crites, five great-grandchildren; one sister, Della
Copeland, Dixon, Mo.; other relatives and many friends.
