Adolph E. Wuppermann Is Dead in Greewich

President of Angostura Bitters Corp. and Brother of Screen Stars Ralph and Frank Morgan, Passes at 65.

Adolph Edward Wuppermann, president of the Angostrua Bitters Corp., and brother of the screen stars Ralph and Frank Morgan, died this morning at his home, Calhoun Dr., Greenwich, at the age of 65.

He succeeded his late mother, Josephine Hancox Wuppermann, who died, last September, as head of the Angostura firm. Coming to the United States from Trinidad in 1878, the company grew to international proportions through a secret formula for the manufacture of bitters.

Born in Greenville, N.J., Mr. Wuppermann worked for his parents from the time he was 16, and until his mother's death was general manager of the concern.

Besides his brothers in Hollywood, he is survived by his wife, Flora Stafford Wuppermann, a daughter, Audrey Wuppermann Byam; and two sisters, Mrs. Josephine Langdon of New York, and MRs. Zoyla Cook, Jeffries N.H.

A funeral service will be held at his home, Monday, at 22 p.m. Burial will be private.

Adolph Edward Wuppermann, president of the Angostrua Bitters Corp., and brother of the screen stars Ralph and Frank Morgan, died this morning at his home, Calhoun Dr., Greenwich, at the age of 65.
