Dau of Thomas Dawson & Maria Tate; she married John W. Southwell 07 Feb 1872 in Clinton County, IA. The Southwells lived numerous places in Iowa and Minnesota due to his job as a Methodist minister. They came to Pasadena because of a Methodist retirement home there. Eliza Jane is buried beside her twin sister Maria Dawson Barlett. Eliza Jane was the mother of Edward, Wm, Lydia, Caughey, and Ruth.
