Funeral services for Miss Christie Tuley were held Friday morning, Dec. 5, in the St. Joseph Catholic church in Canton, with Father Thomas J. Gray officiating. Music was furnished by Mrs. James Brennan, with Mrs. Thomas Brennan on the organ. The Rosary was said Thursday night at the Barkley-Davis Funeral chapel, Canton. Pall bearers were Ernest Hemmings, Homer Mason, Bert Barnes, Ebert Reiter, Bill Wellman and Harry Jobe. Burial was in the St. Patrick cemetery. Miss Tuley died at a rest home in Kahoka on Wednesday, Dec. 3. Christie M. Tuley, the daughter of John Henry and Mary E. Logsdon Tuley, was born at St. Patrick on Aug. 25, 1901. She never married. She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic church at Canton. She was the last member of her family. She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother and sister.
