Mary was the daughter of Dominic Pedrowsky and Anna Januszewska. About 1876 she married Joseph Falkowski and they had seven children: Francis, Anna, Mary, Agnews, Bernard, Frances & John. In 1889, Mary and her family, her parents, and her brother Thomas and his family immigrated to the United States onboard the passenger ship Switzerland. They arrived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on 06 Mar and settled in Trenton, New Jersey. Mary died at her home, 937 Beatty Street, of carcinoma of the stomach at the age of 74.
