Jean E. (Jacobs) Mygan, of Mansfield, died Thursday, Aug. 26, at home. She was 85 years old. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas M. Mygan. Born in Boston, Jan. 5, 1925, she was a loving daughter of the late Ira and Ruby (Abell) Jacobs. Mrs. Mygan was a homemaker, devoted to raising her 12 children. She was an active communicant at St. Marys Parish. Mrs. Mygan is survived by her children, Thomas Mygan and his late wife Kathy of New Hampshire, Jeannie Keeler and her husband Ed of East Bridgewater, Dorothy Brady and her husband Richard of Florida, Therese Moynihan and her husband Richie of Mansfield, Michael Mygan and his wife Uschi of Germany, Mary Mygan of Mansfield, Annemarie Mygan of Foxboro, John Mygan of Missouri, Patrick Mygan of Dighton, Kat Mygan of Florida and the late Joseph and Richard Mygan and his late wife Linda. She was the cherished grandmother of 23 and great-grandmother of nine. She was the loving sister of the late Rick Jacobs. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Bolea-Amici Funeral Home, 115 N. Main St., Mansfield, Wednesday, Sept. 1, at 8 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass at St. Marys Church, 330 Pratt St. (Rte. 106), Mansfield, at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, from 4-8 p.m. Interment in New Calvary Cemetery. www.boleafuneralservices.com
