Lee L. Ankeny, 90, of 127 Garfield St. Kittanning, died at 3:10 a.m. Dec. 31, 1972 in Armstrong County Memorial Hospital. Mr. Ankeny was a retired glassworker for PPG Industries at Ford City and a member of First Church of God, Kittanning.
He was born August 7, 1882 in Elderton. His wife, Esther A. Ankeny died in 1969.
Surviving are two sons, Myron David Ankeny of Kittanning and Wilbert D. Ankeny of West Kittanning; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
