SILVER POINT Funeral services for Solon G. Lowe, 88, of Route 1, Silver Point, will be held December 13 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Baxter Funeral Home. Burial will be in Boma Cemetery.
Mr. Lowe, a retired farmer and carpenter, died Dec. 11, 1980, at his home.
A native of Putnam County, he was the son of the late Jasper and Margaret Conway Lowe.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Lowe, of Silver Point; two sons, Iva Lowe and Kaye Lowe (Kinerd avis "Kaye" Lowe), both of Boma; three daughters, Mrs. Ruby Lowe
Maxwell, of Readyville, TN, Mrs. Mae Lowe Birdwell, of Baxter, and Mrs. Elsie Lowe Carter, of Nashville; one
sister, Mrs. Nola Jernigan, of Baxter; nine grandchildren and 16 greatgrandchildren.
