She married, first, at Leominster,MA in Feb 1777, James Butler of Leominster,MA. They removed to Buckland,MA, where he died on Nov 19,1801, aged 48.

She married, second, as his second wife on Feb 10,1806 at Buckland,MA, Levi Stearns.

Children(by first marriage): James Butler Jr, Sarah Butler Taylor, Betsey Butler Taylor, Samuel Butler, Lucy Butler Brooks(mother of Caroline Brooks and Persina Brooks Spooner), Roswell Butler, Diantha Butler Smith, Clarissa Butler Chilson, Minerva Butler Phelps, Patty Butler, and Cyhthia Butler.

There were other children baptized in Buckland after the death of James Butler, and these may have included Delia Butler Jones, baptized in 1805, but born in 1794.

James Butler and wife rem. soon after their marriage to Charlemont, where he had previously prepared a home, settling in that part incorporated as Buckland in 1779. He served in the Rev. War, and was Corporal and Lieutenant. 12 children as listed above.
