Obituary from the "Globe-Gazette" of Mason City, Iowa dated 11 Feb 1967:
Peter H. Engstler
Garner - Funeral services for Peter Hall Engstler [sic], 84, will be at St. Boniface Catholic Church Monday at 10 a.m. The Rev. Fr. Robert Palen will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery, with Bohn Funeral Home in charge.
He died Friday night at Hancock County Memorial Hospital in Britt. He was born Nov. 13, 1882, at Marble Rock, to Katherine and Jacob Engstler. They moved to Garner in 1895. He was married to Eunice Bailey Jan 20, 1914.
Surviving are his wife, two sons, Bernard and Robert, Garner; a daughter, Mrs. Wayne (Betty) Schlawin, Garner; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three sisters, Kate Tobin, Garner, Mrs. George (Margaret) Owen, Garner, Christine Tobin, Waseca, Minn. A sister and five brothers preceded him in death.
Mr. Engstler was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters and had served on the Garner Creamery board. He was associated in a vegetable business here for many years.

He married Eunice Gertrude Bailey 20 Jan 1914 in Garner, Hancock, Iowa.
