Death of Judge Nuttall
….
We regret to announce the death of Hon. Elijah F. Nuttall, which sad event occurred at his residence in Henry County, on Tuesday, the 13th inst. Judge Nuttall’s health had been failing since last autumn, at which time he was greatly exposed to the inclement weather, and all hope of his recovery had been abandoned sometime before his death. The deceased has been somewhat conspicuous in political life in Kentucky, early in his career uniting with the Democratic party, to which party he was indebted for the Circuit Judgeship, which he held for many years. He was possessed of a kindly nature; was truly amiable in the domestic circle, and was ever held in the highest esteem by his neighbors.
