Howard Jefferson Walter was the son of Ambrose Walter and Catherine Veronica (nee) Dietrick. A long time resident of Baltimore, Maryland, he was the proud father of Howard F. (Harry), John Charles, Helen (Maggitti), Dorothy (Rutkowski), Edie (Catania), and Elsie (Peacock). He was married in 1912 to Edith. He worked many years for the U.S. Wall Paper Company. A gentle, loving man, he was a natural musician especially gifted on the piano.
Please note: Some of his father's family and Howard Jefferson's children added the "S" to the Walter name. Hence he was born Walter but died WalterS.
