For five seasons, he played for the New York Yankees (1957), Detroit Tigers (1958), Washington Senators (1958), Cleveland Indians (1959), St. Louis Cardinals (1961) and Houston Colt .45s (1962). He finished his career with a record of 10 wins, 13 losses, 4 saves, 149 strikeouts and a 4.36 earned run average. He died at age 52 in Westland, Michigan.
