Brush; they were married on 30 March 1865; George was on a military assignment in Florida; Alice took a ship for Florida, but the ship ran into a storm and sank off Cape Hatteras, North Carolina; her name is listed on a Brush family memorial at Huntington Rural, but she may not actually be buried here; most likely she was lost at sea
